Warehouse for medium-sized freight forwarder

"We were extremely well supported by HALTEC. All of our requirements for the hall were satisfied. One of the major advantages was that we could use our existing areas without expensive foundation work. With a brick hall we would not have been able to produce a new building so quickly or so cost-effectively."

Continuous company growth generated demand for storage and order-picking space for a medium-sized freight forwarding company. Goods should be placed in interim storage and delivered to customers daily for further processing.

The company required a fast space solution. The client decided on a HALTEC steel hall in modular construction.

Within a few weeks the assembly of the logistics warehouse was concluded.
"One of the major advantages was the fact that we could use our existing areas without expensive foundation work" explains the owner of the company. Asphalting the construction area was fully sufficient. "With a brick hall we would not have been able to produce a new building so quickly or so cost-effectively."

The high level of customer satisfaction was reflected in the follow-on orders. "We required even more space because we also place finished products from our customer's production in interim storage in our facilities, and subsequently deliver the goods to the end customers."

HALTEC erected two additional halls for the medium-sized business. In addition a retroactively desired hall attachment was realised with no complications. One of the warehouses was extended with a docking station for trucks that enables direct and prompt loading of the product pallets.

Overall the company has built 6,800 m² of hall space. The Managing Director's summary: "We were extremely well supported by HALTEC. All of our requirements for the hall were satisfied."
