Multiple warehouses for Johnson Controls
"As we had already had extremely positive experiences with the first steel hall, we also ordered the two new warehouses from HALTEC. We are very satisfied with the service from HALTEC. Consulting, assembly and the product quality of the warehouses are consistently excellent.

Technical data - Steelflex steel building
Reference example: Supplier to the automotive industry
Johnson Controls is one of the world's leading companies in the areas of automobile interior trim, electronics and batteries. At one of the production locations the warehouse and shipping capacities were expanded. In this regard high-quality and functional space solutions were sought that could be executed individually to meet the respective requirements.
The decision was made for products from HALTEC and the advantages of the modular construction. Modular constructions are particularly characterised by fast assembly. They offer the high-level functionality of a building and can be ideally implemented as warehouse and shipping halls for finished goods or raw materials.
Steelflex steel buildings as warehouses
The first hall was erected in 2004. In accordance with the storage objectives the client selected an uninsulated variant with roof tarpaulins and trapezoidal profile cladding. "We needed a roof for our warehouse. The Steelflex hall from HALTEC was precisely the right solution for us", explains the Production Director. Two additional steel halls were built in 2006 and 2007.
"Because we had already had extremely positive experiences with the first steel hall, we also ordered the two new warehouses from HALTEC." One of the halls can be heated if necessary. It is clad with foamed sandwich elements that insulate the interior. Thus goods can be stored and loaded regardless of season and in any weather conditions. A covered steel construction 20 m in length connects the two modular constructions and enables optimal traffic of goods and personnel between the buildings.
Light weight hall as the third follow-on order
In the meantime HALTEC also erected an Aluflex lightweight hall for Johnson Controls. The light weight hall is an additional cost-effective alternative for the rapid procurement of a covered storage facility. It can be anchored on a paved subsoil without expensive foundation work, with pegs or dowels.
All space capacity was rented for several years. At the end of the rental period the supplier to the automotive industry can freely decide whether to continue to rent the warehouses, or to take them over through purchase. The Production Director's summary indicates years of customer satisfaction: "We are very satisfied with the service from HALTEC. Consulting, assembly and the product quality of the warehouses are consistently excellent."
