Floor ballast

The new, patent-protected steel-aluminium substructure* ballast system was specifically developed for marquees with integrated floors. The ballasts are not on the floor, but are suspended freely in the ballast-bearing bay. This means that they take full effect. The robust *steel-aluminium substructure makes it possible to use ballast even in coastal areas.

Adaptor ballast

With the adaptor ballast for marquees without floors, you benefit from a specially constructed, highly stable adaptor plate. The tent floor plates and weights are fastened onto this. Especially practical: You can use universal ballasts such as water tanks or concrete plates from the construction store as ballasts.

Frictional connection

No breaking away from the rail beams, no bending of the longitudinal girders, no deformation of the truss supports – the ballasts act directly on the supports. In addition, we have determined the ideal and at the same time smallest possible ballast for every tent size for you.

Saves time and money

With the ideal static use of the suspended ballasts, you need less weight than with traditional ballast. Great ease of assembly shortens the assembly time – you save time and money.

TÜV type-approved

The HALTEC ballast systems offer you the best base as regards construction without anchoring. They are guaranteed TÜV type-approved so that you can always be on the safe side with your tents – includes static calculation.

We recommend: HALTEC anti-slip mats

With an anti-slip mat, you also make savings, since it raises the coefficient of friction between the floor and substructure.

 

Rule of thumb: the higher the coefficient of friction, the less ballast and the more savings.

 

Example:

  • Party tent maxi 10.00 x 20.00 x 2.30 m with 5.00 m truss spacing
  • Reduction of ballast from 3,010 kg to 1,201 kg
  • This is a four-figure cost saving
